On Wednesday, 7th December from 23:00 to 03:00 GMT (at the latest), inbound and outbound Faster Payments will be queued. This scheduled maintenance is needed to support a change by one of our key payment infrastructures
So that we can continue to provide you with the reliable uptime that you've come to expect, we're upgrading our infrastructure.
Will it be the full 4 hours?
We aim to complete the maintenance well within the timeframe. Updates will be posted to our Status Page.
What happens to any failed API calls?
Our API calls won't fail at this time, and we would therefore suggest you follow your normal processes to avoid any errors.
Will inbound Faster Payments still work?
During this time, inbound payments will be delayed. If payments have not arrived after the scheduled maintenance ends, customers should speak to the originating bank.
Will other payment services still work?
Yes. This maintenance applies to our Faster Payments service only. Bacs, CHAPS,SEPA, cards and international payments will continue to function as normal.
Is there a contingency date?
Yes. A contingency date to repeat the upgrade in case of back out is scheduled for the12th of December 23:00 - 03:00 GMT. Updates will be posted to our status page.
